As city planners are all too aware, climate change is already here. But in truth, we are only just beginning to feel its effects. From the impacts of extreme weather to shifts in policy and regulation, the way we design, build, operate and adapt infrastructure is already changing – and must be completely transformed in coming years.

Our buildings, parks, utilities, transport, recreational and community facilities are all increasingly vulnerable to the effects of climate change. The race is very much on to ensure our towns and cities are resilient.
